The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international organization for standardization that sets international standards in various fields with headquarters in Geneva (SWISS). This organization was founded on January 23, 1947 and is a non-governmental organization with a website www.iso.org.
ISO 9001: 2015 training on Quality Management Systems for Teaching Staffs at the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries was held on June 27, 2019 in the FIKP 2nd Floor Meeting Room. This activity is one of the work programs of the FIKP Quality Assurance Unit (GPM). GPM Chair Prof. Dr. Ir. Abd. Haris, M.Sc stated in his remarks that this activity was intended so that we as part of the FIKP manager would have awareness and responsibility about their respective duties and functions, thus leading to the availability of the best FIKP services for consumers not only students and lecturers but also all levels of society. This activity was opened by the Deputy Dean III of FIKP Dr. Ir. Muh. Farid Samawi, M.Sc, while the speaker I was Safruddin, S.Pi, MP, Ph.D as the management representative of ISO FIKP and speaker II was Dr.Ir. Alfa Nelwan, M.Sc (Secretary of Quality Assurance Unit).
