The Directorate of Resources, Directorate General of Higher Education, provides opportunities for PMDSU Promotors and Co-Promotors to develop academic networks through the PMDSU Promotor Cooperation Strengthening Program (PKP-PMDSU). This program aims to expand collaboration in the fields of education, research, and community service with partner universities or world-class research institutions abroad. Through this program, Promotors and Co-Promotors are expected to enhance their academic capacity, strengthen research collaboration, and improve the quality of reputable international scientific publications.
One of the participants from the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries Science (FIKP), Hasanuddin University, who successfully passed the selection to take part in the PKP-PMDSU program in Japan was Prof. Andi Iqbal Burhanuddin, Ph.D. The activity was carried out in November 2025 at the Kagoshima University Museum, Japan.
