Makassar, October 21, 2024 – The Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries (FIKP) UNHAS hosted an event titled "FIKP Goes to PIMNAS 2025" themed "Fuel Your Creativity," held at the 2nd floor auditorium of FIKP UNHAS. The event aimed to prepare FIKP students for the National Student Science Week (PIMNAS) 2025 and to foster creativity and innovation in developing scientific projects.
Vice Dean I (Academic and Student Affairs), Prof. Dr. Ir. Siti Aslamyah, MP, officially opened this event and delivered a presentation on aligning PIMNAS with Competency Strengthening Courses (MKPK). In her opening remarks, Prof. Siti Aslamyah encouraged students to cultivate their creativity.
The program continued with a keynote session by Prof. Andi Dian Permana, a distinguished lecturer recognized for mentoring the student groups that received the highest number of funding approvals and incentives in the 2024 Student Creativity Program (PKM). He delivered material on PKM, sharing tips and strategies for building an exceptional PKM team. He also encouraged students to think creatively and innovatively, urging them to step out of their comfort zones to create outstanding scientific work.
Dr. Nursinah Amir served as the moderator, enthusiastically leading the discussion and providing students with ample opportunities to ask questions and explore how they can contribute to the upcoming PIMNAS.
The event, began at 9:30 AM WITA, and was well-received by the participants. The students were highly engaged throughout each session, eager to help FIKP achieve outstanding success at PIMNAS 2025.
Through this event, FIKP UNHAS aims to continually motivate its students to produce creative and innovative scientific work, bringing honor to the faculty. This event is expected to be a stepping stone for FIKP UNHAS students to shine at next year's PIMNAS.
