Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) has once again added to its list of professors. Prof. Dr. Ir. Nadiarti, M.Sc from the Study Program of Aquatic Resources, Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries (FIKP), was inaugurated as the 552nd professor, specifically in Aquatic Ecology. The inauguration occurred in the Senate Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Unhas Rectorate Building, on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her inaugural speech entitled \"Challenges and Solutions for Aquatic Resources Management in Indonesia: From a Biodiversity Perspective\", Prof. Nadiarti highlighted the importance of biodiversity as part of the safe limits of environmental exploitation. According to her speech, biodiversity is crucial in supporting sustainable development and human welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Nadiarti also underlined the challenges in managing aquatic resources in Indonesia. She called for comprehensive and sustainable solutions to overcome these challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inauguration of Prof. Nadiarti as a professor is a proud achievement for UNHAS, especially FIKP UNHAS. Her expertise and experience in the aquatic ecology field are expected to contribute to the development of science and management of aquatic resources in Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
