Makassar,31 January 2025-Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries (FIKP) UNHAS heldits 29th Anniversary celebration themed: *Blue Marine and Fisheries Innovation for a Resilient Future*. This event is an opportunity for reflection and commitment of the faculty to encourage research and innovation in the marine and fisheries sector for the sustainability of maritime resources.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a range of intriguingly packaged events, the celebration was well-planned. FIKP students performed the Indonesian Creation Dance, which amazed the guests, followed by a prayer by Prof.Dr. Ir. Musbir, M.Sc., as a form of gratitude to Allah, the God Almighty. The screening of achievement videos that showcased faculty contributions on research, as well as academic accomplishments at the national and international levels, also provided inspirational moments.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The welcoming session presented various stakeholders who provided support and strategic direction for the development of FIKP UNHAS. Speeches were delivered by The Dean of FIKP,Prof.Safruddin,S.Pi., MP,Ph.D.,Dr.Khairul Amri, ST., M.Sc.Stud (Head of Department of Marine Sciences), and Moh.Tauhid Umar, S.Pi., MP (Secretary of the Department of Fisheries Science). On this occasion, Prof. Dr.Ir.Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc., Rector of Hasanuddin University, emphasized the importance of collaboration throughout the academic community in strengthening the achievements and innovations of FIKP UNHAS.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a form of appreciation, the faculty awards retired lecturers, administrative staff, and those assigned to different offices outside FIKP. Representing the retirees, *Prof. Dr. Ir. Haryati,M.S.*conveyed messages and hopes for the sustainability of an increasingly advanced and competitive faculty.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event's highlight was marked by the procession of cutting the tumpeng and cakes as a symbol of gratitude and togetherness. Group photo sessions helped to warm the mood, followed by some entertainment from several participants. Toward the end of the event, everyone had a buffet lunch,strengthening the relationship between the academic community and guests.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIKP UNHAS's dedication to fostering sustainable blue innovation is further reinforced by this celebration of its 29th anniversary. It is envisaged that FIKP UNHAS would achieve higher quality in marine and fisheries science research and development thanks to the collaboration of professors,students, and educational staff. FIKP UNHAS is prepared to support both national and international development with an innovative and collaborative culture.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n
