Makassar, August 14, 2024 - The Faculty of Marine Sciences and Fisheries (FIKP) UNHAS has once again reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining academic integrity by organizing an \"Anti-Gratification Awareness\" session for new students. The event occurred in the Hall of FIKP UNHAS Building One and was attended by lecturers, staff, and senior students of FIKP UNHAS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awareness session was delivered by the Head of the Assurance and Reputation Enhancement Unit (GPM-PR) of FIKP, Dr. Nursinah Amir, S.Pi., M.P., who emphasized the importance of instilling integrity and academic ethics values from an early stage. \"Education is not just about knowledge, morals, and responsibility. In her presentation, \" unhealthy practices like gratification must be prevented as they can damage the educational environment,\" said Dr. Nursinah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, held on Wednesday morning, aimed to provide the FIKP academic community with a deep understanding of the dangers of gratification and how to prevent it. Additionally, it served as a significant moment to strengthen moral values and integrity within the academic environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants, including new students, senior students, and lecturers, enthusiastically attended the session. They recognized that integrity is the fundamental foundation that must be upheld in every academic and professional life aspect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This awareness session is expected to be a substantial step toward building a clean and gratification-free academic culture at FIKP UNHAS.
