Makassar, July 25, 2024 \u2013 The Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries (FIKP) UNHAS organized a workshop on techniques for writing and publishing in Q1\/Q2 reputable international journals. The event took place from 08:30 to 16:00 WITA in the Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of FIKP UNHAS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop featured two experts in scientific publications: Prof. Dahlang, Head of the Publication Management Center (PMC) at UNHAS, and Prof. Andi Dirpan, Secretary of the PMC at UNHAS. The event was designed to enhance the skills required to write and publish scientific works in highly reputable international journals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event began with an opening speech by the Dean of FIKP UNHAS, Prof. Safruddin, S.Pi., MP., Ph.D., followed by a group photo session. Prof. Mukti Zainuddin, S.Pi., M.Sc., Ph.D moderated the material sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Dahlang commenced the material sessions by discussing the use of AI software and writing literature reviews for Q1\/Q2 reputable journals. He also provided practical tips for navigating the review process, which often poses challenges for researchers. The second session was delivered by Prof. Andi Dirpan, who covered techniques and strategies for publishing in reputable international journals. Both speakers shared their experiences in publishing articles in high-impact journals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop is part of FIKP UNHAS's efforts to enhance academic quality and international reputation. Workshop participants were encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to improve their skills in writing and publishing their research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
