Closing the End of the Year, FIKP Unhas Held Fisheries and Marine Outlook 2030<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Faculty of Marine and Fisheries Sciences (FIKP) Hasanuddin University held a year-end discussion in a hybrid webinar with the topic of “Fisheries and Marine Outlook 2030” on Friday, December 31, 2021. This hybrid webinar activity was held in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room, FIKP Unhas, and also online via the Zoom Meeting application.<\/p>

This activity was opened by the Dean of FIKP, Mr. Safruddin, S.Pi, MP., Ph.D. who in his speech conveyed the achievements of FIKP and emphasized the position of FIKP in supporting achievements related to fisheries and marine affairs in the South Sulawesi region and nationally.<\/p>

This activity presents resource persons with various backgrounds to see current and future issues related to fisheries and marine affairs and their solutions. As the first resource person who brought the material, Mrs. Dr. Asda Laining, M.Sc., who is the Head of BRPBAP3 Maros Regency. In his presentation, Dr. Asda conveyed the research results from the Center which were expected to be able to encourage the development of the fisheries and marine sector in the future. After that, Mr. Tigor Cendarma, CEO of PT. Bogatama Marinusa shared his view as an entrepreneur for fisheries and marine in 2030. As the third resource person, representing academia, Mr. Ir. Iqbal Djawad, M.Sc., Ph.D., who is also the Chair of the South Sulawesi Korda MAI, conveyed his point of view regarding issues, challenges, and opportunities for the fisheries and marine sector. As the last resource person, attending to represent the government, Mr. Ir. Sulkaf Latif, MM., Head of DKP South Sulawesi Province. In his presentation, he presented the latest data on fisheries and marine conditions, as well as responded to the discussion points presented by the three previous speakers.<\/p>

The webinar which lasted for approximately three hours was also attended by 250 participants from various backgrounds. Some of the participants contributed their opinions in the discussion session which went smoothly and was guided by Dr. M. Rijal Idrus, M.Sc.<\/p>

The results of this activity are expected to be a record for the development of fisheries and marine in the future.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
