The Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries (FIKP), Hasanuddin University, organized a Halal bi Halal 1447 H event as an effort to strengthen fellowship and reinforce unity among the academic community following the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

The event was held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the 2nd Floor Hall of FIKP Unhas, and was attended by lecturers, administrative staff, members of Dharma Wanita Persatuan, retirees, as well as students within FIKP.

Carrying the theme “Reflection of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H: Harmony in Diversity,” the event served as an important moment to strengthen togetherness, foster mutual forgiveness, and build harmonious relationships within the faculty.

The program began with an opening session, followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya and the Hasanuddin University Hymn, a prayer, and Qur’anic recitation along with its interpretation, creating a solemn and reflective atmosphere.

The event continued with remarks from the Head of Majelis Ta’lim Attaqwa FIKP Unhas, Dr. Khairul Amri, ST, MSc Stud, and the Dean of FIKP Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Mahatma, ST., M.Sc. In his remarks, the Dean emphasized the importance of Halal bi Halal in restoring and strengthening relationships.

“Halal bi Halal can help mend relationships that may have become distant due to daily work responsibilities. Hopefully, the spirit of Ramadan can enhance our performance and innovation in developing the faculty.”

On this occasion, the university leadership was represented by the Secretary of Hasanuddin University, Prof. Ir. Sumbangan Baja, M.Phil., Ph.D., on behalf of the Rector. He highlighted the importance of maintaining strong bonds as a foundation for collective work.

“This gathering tightens what has become loose and reconnects what was once disconnected.”

The highlight of the event was a religious sermon delivered by Ustadz Dr. H. Muchsin Ramlan, S.Pd.I., M.M., who emphasized the importance of sincerity in carrying out responsibilities.

“In fulfilling our duties, it is not only the intention that must be good, but also the way we carry them out. They should not be driven merely by the desire for praise.”

The event concluded with a group photo session and a mutual forgiveness gathering, where participants greeted one another in a warm and familial atmosphere.

Through this event, it is hoped that the spirit of togetherness, sincerity, and synergy within the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, Hasanuddin University, will continue to be strengthened and contribute to the institution’s overall performance and development.
