Welcome Reception of New Lecturers of FIKP UNHAS

The Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries (FIKP) UNHAS held a Welcome Reception of the new lecturers in the Senate Room, FIKP UNHAS, on Thursday, July 25, 2024. Faculty leaders, head of the quality assurance unit, heads of departments, heads of study programs within FIKP, and new lecturers attended the event.

Vice Dean for Planning, Resources, and Alumni of FIKP UNHAS, Prof. Dr. Ir. Abdul Haris, M.Si., in his report, said that this year, FIKP UNHAS received 13 new lecturers consisting of 12 CPNS Lecturers and 1 Non-Permanent Lecturer. This activity was followed by opening remarks by the Dean of FIKP UNHAS, Prof. Safruddin, S.Pi, MP, Ph,D, with the hope of contributions from new lecturers.

“We hope these new lecturers can significantly improve the quality of education and research at FIKP UNHAS. We invite them to participate actively in scientific publications and other academic activities,” explained Prof. Safruddin.

In addition, the Dean of FIKP UNHAS also encouraged the new lecturers to continue their studies abroad to expand the faculty's international network.
