The Faculty of Marine and Fisheries (FIKP) of Hasanuddin University on March 4, 2020 carried out Thematic Student Village Development activities Covid 19 with the aim to ease the burden on students and coastal communities affected by covid 19. This activity was carried out by the Student Affairs in collaboration with BEM FIKP in the form of assistance groceries and masks as well as covid prevention education 19. As implemented the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in the Makassar City Region resulted in the limited activity of students living around the Unhas campus and coastal communities in meeting their daily needs.

In this activity, as many as 70 packages were provided containing rice, instant noodles, canned fish and syrup. The symbolic handover of food was carried out in the Building of the Faculty of Maritime and Fisheries Sciences by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Alumni Prof. Dr. drg. Arsunan Arsin, M. Kes accompanied by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and FIKP Partnership Dr.Ir. Muh. Farid Samawi, M.Sc, Lecturer of Student Affairs, Head of Student Affairs Amos Datu Bala, S.Kom and Chair of BEM FIKP Khoirul Zaman Dongoran
