The FIKP Hasanuddin University distributed 500 iftar packages (i.e., food for those who break their fasting) to people in need, on May 9th, 2020. Each package consists of a rice box and a green been porridge. This was the 2nd charity action under the FIKP Cares for the Effect of Covid-19 Program, conducted in collaboration with the Family Welfare Program (PKK) of South Sulawesi Province. By all means, it is a way to deliver voluntary alms form the FIKP lectures and staffs. The packages were submitted in PKK Office by Vice Dean (Dr.Ir. Muh. Farid Samawi, M.Si), Head of Administration (Husni Husain, S.S, M.Hum), and some staffs.
In the previous day, on May 8th, 2020, 150 similar packages were also distributed to people in need within Makassar Industrial District (KIMA) in City of Makassar.
